Good business practices include fairness in dealing with our customers. Fairness should be a two-way street. These are our policies regarding shipping and returns. Please understand these policies before doing business with us. During the order process, you are required to certify that you have read these policies, understand them, agree to them, and will follow them.

If you pay for your order using a credit or debit card, your card is billed immediately. That is the way our credit processor conducts business. Our credit card processor is the eProcessing Network, and the bank is Payment Alliance International, Inc. These are the companies recommended by the NRA Business Alliance. The moment you place your order, the item or items belong to you. Your order cannot be canceled and/or and the item or items cannot be returned. 

The UPS Marketplace shipping program sends an email stating your order has shipped and includes an estimated delivery date based on the moment your label was created. In actuality, your order may not ship for another one or two business days. For example, if you place your order Thursday, the label will be created Thursday or Friday, and your order may ship Friday or Monday. Once your order has shipped, UPS will have updated tracking information available that evening or the next morning. Everything has been shipping out in one or two business days from when the order was placed. 

Sometimes, the actual shipping costs end up being significantly less than you are charged. Perhaps you are shipping to a business address rather than a residential address, or two or more orders were combined after they were placed, and before they were packaged for shipment. In that case you may receive a refund of shipping charges. These refunds are processed by us periodically. You will receive an email from the credit card processor that a refund transaction has occurred. From the date that you receive that email, it may require up to 10 additional business days for your refund to appear on your account. We have no control over this time period. Some customers have a smaller credit balance (less than $10.00) as a result of the difference between the shipping costs they paid and the actual shipping costs. In these cases, we many choose to issue a gift card/store credit that can be used toward future purchases rather than issuing a refund to your card. In such cases, you will receive an email notification regarding the issuance of a gift card/store credit.

Shipping of ammunition is by UPS Ground. Non-ammunition items may ship UPS or USPS. Your UPS packages are insured through UPS Capital Insurance Agency, Inc. As a former FFL holder who has shipped and received thousands of firearms, we package your order with care. However, we cannot be responsible for anything that happens to the order once it is delivered by the carrier (theft, damage claims, etc.). An adult signature is recommended, but not required, on delivery of ammunition and high-value items. If an adult will not be home to sign for the order, you might consider shipping the order to your place of employment or a UPS Store, or requesting UPS hold the package at the service center for pick-up. If you need us to change the shipping address, please do so as soon as possible before the order ships. If circumstances are such that we have to pay UPS $12.00 for an address change, by requesting an address change you give us your permission to charge your credit card $12.00 to reimburse us. If the order is canceled once the tracking number has been issued or the shipment is pending, not picked-up, or refused and returned to us, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee, possibly a $12.00 change of address fee, and the shipping charges you already have paid will not be refunded.

Please be careful when selecting "residential" or "business" when completing your shipping address. If you operate a business from your place of residence, most likely UPS considers it a residential address. If you choose "business," but UPS then charges us the higher residential rate, by placing an order you give us your permission to add the additional shipping charges to your credit card without any further notification or authorization. If you are not sure, please check with UPS first.

If you accidentally choose "In-store Pickup" when checking out, but your order is being shipped to you, by placing the order you give us your permission to determine the actual shipping charges and add them to your credit card as a separate charge without further notification or authorization. You will receive an email receipt when this charge is processed. However, choosing "In-store Pickup" does not give you the right to cancel the order once the shipping charges have been calculated and charged to your card. The item or items belong to you.

Also, if it is apparent that your order weighs more than 70 lbs, is a large order that may require shipping in more than one package, or if you want to verify the estimated shipping charges, please choose "In-store Pickup." We will then calculate the actual shipping charges. You give us your permission to process a separate shipping charge to your card without further notification or authorization. If you have any questions regarding shipping charges, don’t place an order - ask first! As previously stated, no orders can be canceled or returned.

Illinois customers who purchase ammunition must submit a copy of their driver's license and FOID card prior to their order being shipped, either by email or by fax. The same is true of any other states that have similar laws, such as New Jersey. No shipping to the states of NY, CT, or MA, or to cities that may have their own laws or ordinances, which may include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, Washington D.C., or Chicago. It is up to you to know your state and local laws and act accordingly.

Ammunition is classified as hazardous material and cannot be shipped to any state or territory to which we cannot send merchandise by UPS ground service (Alaska and Hawaii or US Territories). Due to the hazardous nature of ammunition, it cannot be returned. That is the same policy as other retailers like Cabela’s and Gander Mountain. If you feel that it could be defective, that is an issue for you to discuss directly with the manufacturer.
