Description

This is the recommended practice round for Speer Gold Dot, Federal Tactical HST, and Winchester Ranger T 9mm 147gr. Hollow Points.

Why train with light target loads when you can use range ammo that performs the same as your defensive rounds? These 147 grain 9mm Parabellum rounds from Speer's Lawman line give the same feedback as many 147gr defensive rounds, such as Speer Gold Dot, Federal HST, and Ranger T-Series, but the price is lower because they use a flat nosed projectile.

There are times you don't need a hollow point bullet, like when target shooting, training, or out for an afternoon of plinking. Lawman is right at home. Lawman is attractively priced, and the cases are reloadable. Many Lawman loads duplicate the velocities and bullet weights we load in Gold Dot so your practice is realistic.

"We have used Speer Lawman ammunition as training ammunition from time to time. For the most part the Lawman ammunition has performed very well with impressive accuracy for target ammunition." BlueSheepdog.com

"Whatever you choose, make sure you fire at least 500 and preferably 1000 failure free shots through your pistol prior to carrying it. If your pistol cannot fire at least 1000 consecutive shots without a malfunction, something is wrong and it is not suitable for duty/self-defense use." Dr. Gary Roberts in pistol-forum.com
"I put 500-750 rds of FMJ through the pistol. If all is good, then 100-250 rounds of duty ammo. If things functioned without issues, then I carry it without worries." Dr. Gary Roberts in pistol-forum.com
